Franco is Full Professor and Head of the Chemical Engineering Department at University of Huelva, whose research activity is related with rheology and processing of non-Newtonian fluids, and product development (including food emulsions and gels). He has been researcher in more than 50 funded research projects, author of more than 100 scientific works and/or patents papers, co-editor of 3 books on Rheology, and vice-president (2006-present) of the Spanish Rheology Society.
